Home Instead is looking for caring and compassionate Care Professionals to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.Duties include, but are not limited to:Assistance with grooming, dressing and bathingAssistance with toileting and incontinence issuesAlzheimer’s Care / Memory CareCompanionship and conversationLight housekeeping tasks and meal preparationMedication and appointment reminders*No previous experience necessary – skills training provided by Home Instead*Requirements to be a Care Professional:HCA (Health Care Aide) certification is an asset but not essential.Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respectAbility to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial mannerComplete a criminal background check, a vulnerable sector check, 3 professional and personal referencesPossess a valid driver’s license is an asset, but not essential. Driver’s abstract is required.Possess a vehicle with valid auto insurance is an asset but not essential.We have a variety of shifts available with competitive pay.
