Job Overview:
As a Busser/Dishwasher, you will ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and ready for service while assisting servers and maintaining a steady supply of clean dishes. This role is essential for smooth restaurant operations and a positive guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Busser Duties

• Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently

• Ensure tables are properly set with cutlery, napkins, and condiments

• Assist servers with refills and guest requests

• Maintain cleanliness of dining room, drink stations, and service areas

Dishwasher Duties

• Operate commercial dishwasher safely and efficiently

• Wash dishes, utensils, glassware, and cookware to sanitation standards

• Sort, dry, and store clean items in designated areas

• Maintain cleanliness of dish pit and dispose of garbage/recycling

Cleanliness & Safety

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines

• Use cleaning chemicals safely and report equipment issues

• Participate in daily and weekly cleaning tasks

Teamwork & Communication

• Work closely with servers, cooks, and managers to ensure smooth service

• Communicate when supplies or dishware run low

• Assist with additional duties during peak periods

Qualifications:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability

• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs

• Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays

• No prior experience required; training provided
