Daily Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Bargaining with Underwriters to secure optimal language, stipulations, and market-leading costs for current and prospective accounts;

  • Auditing all insurance contracts and records for precision in alignment with agreed-upon conditions;

  • Partnering with Account Management staff to create insurance strategies and promotional plans for upcoming renewals and new accounts;

  • Evaluating consumer-specific threats and defining necessary insurance parameters; crafting and delivering promotional pitches for contract renewals and fresh accounts;

  • Mediating, establishing, and sustaining constructive ties with the underwriting sector for the maximum advantage of the consumer;

  • Coordinating with carriers to verify that the conditions of the brokered agreement are fulfilled;

  • Authorizing paperwork for fresh agreements, policy adjustments, inclusions, removals, and renewals;

  • Functioning as a guide and professional instructor for the Placement unit;

  • Offering guidance, coaching, and direction to Junior Brokers and Administrative Support staff;

  • Setting a professional standard by exhibiting and communicating the value of industry benchmarks across all business segments;

  • Executing additional pertinent tasks and duties as necessary.
