Key Responsibilities

The BI Consultant is the primary authority on the development and integrity of the BI framework:

  • System Architecture & Implementation: Lead the testing, implementation, and meticulous documentation of end-to-end BI systems.

  • Predictive Analytics: Build and refine predictive models and machine-learning algorithms to forecast business outcomes and discover hidden patterns in big data.

  • Technical Translation: Interface with business leaders to translate high-level needs into detailed technical specifications for data warehousing and reporting.

  • Data Governance & Sharing: Establish secure procedures for data sharing across internal departments and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with global standards.

  • Data Extraction & Security: Implement accurate and secure methods for data extraction (ETL/ELT), ensuring the absolute confidentiality and security of all corporate information.

  • Visualization & Insights: Use advanced data visualization techniques to present complex information in a clear, compelling manner for executive-level consumption.

  • System Evaluation: Continuously audit existing data-collecting and analytics systems to identify bottlenecks and suggest modernization paths.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Academic Excellence: BSc in Computer Science , Computer and Communications Engineering (CCE), or a closely relevant field.

  • Professional Tenure: Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in BI consulting or data engineering.

  • Technical Proficiency: * Expertise in BI tools (eg, Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView).

    • Strong command of SQL and data warehousing concepts.

    • Hands-on experience with Python or R for machine learning and predictive modeling.

  • Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to analyze big data sets to discover trends, patterns, and anomalies.

  • Communication Mastery: Ability to provide feedback and assistance to non-technical employees, simplifying complex data concepts for wider organizational research.
