Why Choose This Role?
This is a corporate hospitality position, which differs significantly from a high-street coffee shop:
-
The Environment: You are working in a professional law firm. The expectations for presentation, discretion, and service are higher, which makes for a more polished and professional daily experience.
-
Stability: Unlike retail coffee, which fluctuates with market trends, corporate catering offers a very stable environment.
-
Monday–Friday: The 21-hour weekly schedule with no weekends is rare in the coffee industry and provides an excellent work-life balance.
Application Tip: Emphasize “Professionalism”
Because you are working in a corporate law firm environment, your application should reflect maturity and reliability.
-
Focus on Standards: Emphasize your experience with food safety and allergen procedures. In a corporate environment, these are non-negotiable.
-
Highlight “Corporate Hospitality”: If you have any experience with catering meetings, setting up boardrooms, or working in high-end hospitality, make that a headline on your CV.
-
Reliability: The employer values “consistency.” Mention that you take pride in the “set-up” and daily operational flow of your workspace.
