Job Overview:
As an AV Handyman Technician, you will install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot audio-visual systems. This role requires mechanical, electrical, and computer skills to ensure seamless AV performance and client satisfaction across a variety of settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure projectors, sound systems, video conferencing tools, and other AV equipment.

• Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure proper setup.

• Perform routine maintenance checks to maintain optimal system performance.

• Troubleshoot software, hardware, and low-voltage system issues.

• Use hand tools for installation and repair tasks.

• Collaborate with clients to understand needs and provide tailored AV solutions.

• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards during installations and repairs.

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to work with electrical components.

• Proficiency in computer hardware setup and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with low-voltage systems and AV applications.

• Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective telecommunication skills for remote client and team support.

• Previous AV installation or technical experience preferred but not required.

Schedule & Pay:

• Part-time, casual, permanent, or freelance opportunities available.

• Pay: $60–$100 per hour.
