This role is central to their “Efficient Service” commitment—ensuring that repair shops and warehouses receive the correct OEM and aftermarket parts without delay. You will manage local routes in a company-provided vehicle, serving as the professional face of Spark Auto while handling everything from precision paperwork to heavy inventory.

OBLIGATIONS

• Route Logistics: Execute daily deliveries of parts, stock orders, and statements; perform a specialized “West End Run” (1–2 times weekly) to local warehouses.

• Inventory & Returns: Pick up customer returns, collect payments/invoices, and manage inventory transfers between local warehouses.

• Vehicle Stewardship: Maintain the company vehicle (compact 4-door hatchback); conduct regular fluid checks and refueling at designated stations.

• Compliance & Documentation: Verify all stock items against pick-sheets; ensure all paperwork for pickups and drop-offs is accurately finalized.

• Equipment Maintenance: On occasion, operate a 1-ton van for larger bulk deliveries.

• Customer Interaction: Act as an ambassador for Spark Auto, providing polite and courteous service to a loyal base of long-term automotive clients.

COMPETENCIES & CRITERIA

• License: Valid Ontario Class G License with a clean driving abstract (Driver’s Abstract required for application).

• Highway Proficiency: Must be comfortable and experienced driving on 400-series highways (401, 400, 427, etc.).

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs; must wear CSA-approved steel-toed footwear at all times.

• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills for dealing with vendors and customers.

• Availability: Full-time hours, operating out of the Scarborough headquarters.
