Core Responsibilities

  • Operational Oversight: Supervise daily F&B and culinary shift operations, ensuring all Marriott policies, legal obligations, and brand standards are met.

  • Resource Management: Manage the ordering of F&B supplies, cleaning materials, and uniforms while maintaining the operating budget and monitoring payroll.

  • Staffing & Leadership: Verify staffing levels to meet operational needs and financial objectives; coach team members to build mutual trust and cooperation.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education & Experience:

    • High school diploma or GED with 3 years of experience in F&B or culinary arts; OR

    • A 2-year degree in Hospitality, Food Service Management, or Business with 1 year of relevant experience.

  • Leadership Qualities: Ability to prioritize and organize work, develop specific goals, and foster an environment where team members feel empowered to learn from both success and failure.

  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with F&B budgeting, operating statements, and brand-specific service cultures.

  • Flexibility: Willingness to perform hourly job functions when necessary to support the team during peak periods.
