Job Overview: Assistant/Associate Professor of Marketing (Tenure-Track)
Manhattan University’s O’Malley School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position within the Department of Management and Marketing. Located in the Riverdale neighborhood of the Bronx, the O’Malley School of Business is AACSB-accredited and serves approximately 900 students.
This role is designed for a scholar-practitioner with a strong quantitative background who can bridge the gap between traditional marketing theory and modern technological trends. The university is specifically looking for an educator capable of leading the charge in AI, Digital Marketing, and Marketing Analytics.
Key Responsibilities & Academic Expectations
Instruction & Curriculum Development

Teaching Load: The annual requirement is 21 credit hours. This typically balances between 4-credit graduate courses and 3-credit undergraduate courses.

Specialized Subjects: Lead and develop coursework in Marketing Analytics, Digital Marketing, and AI.

Modality: This is a strictly in-person, on-campus position.
Mentorship & Service

Student Success: Mentor and advise both undergraduate and graduate students on academic research and career trajectories.

Requirements & Qualifications
Academic Credentials

Education: An earned Doctorate in Marketing or a closely related discipline from an AACSB-accredited program is required for appointment.

ABD Candidates: Applicants in the final stages of their dissertation will be considered; however, those with at least two years of prior experience will be given preference.
Professional Profile

Quantitative Expertise: Demonstrated strength in quantitative marketing methods.

Graduate Instruction: Experience teaching and developing courses at the graduate level is highly desirable.

Industry Background: Practical experience in the marketing or tech industry is considered a significant “plus.”
