The Guest Experience Ambassador (Part-Time) at the Four Seasons Hotel Montreal is a high-profile “First and Last Impression” role situated in the heart of the Golden Square Mile. Key Responsibilities: The “Ambassador” Lifecycle

You are responsible for the technical accuracy of the guest’s folio and the emotional quality of their stay.

  • Seamless Arrivals: Welcome and register guests, explain room features, establish credit/payment methods, and coordinate luggage delivery.

  • Boutique Consultations: Assess guest needs to provide personalized recommendations and “special touches” that exceed standard expectations.

  • Financial Stewardship: Maintain a balanced cash bank, process foreign currency exchanges, settle final bills accurately, and reconcile all transactions at shift-end.

  • Information Hub: Act as a resource for hotel services (Marcus Restaurant, Guerlain Spa), internal events, and local directions.

  • Conflict Resolution: Professionally handle guest complaints and suggestions, transforming concerns into positive experiences through “savoir-faire.”

  • System Integration: Utilize multiple property management and communication systems to block rooms, run reports, and manage reservations or calls in the absence of specialized staff.


Candidate Profile & Qualifications

  • The “Luxury Professional”: Ideally possesses previous front desk experience in a luxury hotel setting.

  • Social Wit: An outgoing personality with the ability to establish rapport quickly and remember faces/names to provide a “familiar face” welcome.

  • Operational Grit: The stamina to handle a high-volume environment and the mental agility to multi-task under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.

  • Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity to the needs of a diverse, global clientele and the ability to communicate with high-net-worth individuals.

  • Adaptability: Full flexibility to work any shift, including graveyard shifts, as the hotel is a 24/7 operation.

Being a Guest Experience Ambassador requires mastering the “back-end” systems that make “front-end” luxury possible.

  • Property Management Systems (PMS): You will use advanced software (like Opera or a proprietary Four Seasons system) to manage “room blocks,” ensuring VIPs are placed in the best available suites.

  • Guest Profile Management: Four Seasons relies on detailed guest histories. You will update profiles with preferences (e.g., “prefers foam pillows,” “allergic to lilies”) to ensure every future stay is personalized.
