Job Overview: Security Officer (Part-Time)
Conrad Indianapolis, a Hilton luxury brand, is seeking a Security Officer to join its team. As the only Forbes-recommended hotel in Indiana, the Conrad is a 23-story sophisticated landmark featuring 241 rooms and over 15,000 square feet of banquet space.
This role is a high-responsibility position within a Fortune 500 company, requiring a balance of rigorous safety enforcement and high-end hospitality. You are the invisible shield that ensures guests and team members feel safe while maintaining the “light and warmth of hospitality.”
Key Responsibilities & Safety Operations
Vigilance & Patrol

Perimeter Integrity: Conduct regular patrols of the hotel interior and exterior to identify potential safety hazards, security risks, or “undesirable conditions.”

Incident Response: Act as a first responder to emergency situations, including fires, medical emergencies, safety hazards, and threats to life or property.

Risk Identification: Proactively identify maintenance or safety issues (e.g., blocked fire exits, broken locks) before they become liabilities.
Investigation & Documentation

Preliminary Inquiries: Initiate investigations into incidents involving guests or property, gathering facts and witness statements.

Report Writing: Maintain highly accurate digital and written logs of all shifts, incidents, and security breaches to ensure legal and operational compliance.

Safety Advocacy: Promote and enforce safe work practices among all hotel departments.
Guest Relations

Hospitality-First Security: Resolve guest inquiries and issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner. You are often the first person a guest turns to during a stressful situation.
