This position requires the “wit” to manage 53’ trailers through urban routes and the “grit” to handle physical unloading and warehouse support. Unlike long-haul roles, this position is designed for local impact, ensuring you return home every day while serving as a professional ambassador for a leading building products manufacturer.

Delivering building products requires specialized knowledge of “Load Securement” and “Job Site Safety.”

  • Load Securement (Standard 10): You must ensure all building materials are secured to prevent shifting. This involves calculating the Aggregate Working Load Limit (WLL) of your tie-downs.

  • Lift Truck Integration: You will likely operate a “Moffett” or similar truck-mounted forklift to unload heavy pallets of siding or stone at customer sites.

  • Pre-Trip Inspection (Ronde de sécurité): In Quebec, a meticulous pre-trip is a legal requirement. You are responsible for identifying mechanical issues before they become road hazards.
