Job Overview: Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard

Dinasty Security is seeking a disciplined and professional Unarmed Security Guard for an entry-level position in Vernon (Los Angeles area). Key Responsibilities & Daily Operations

Access Control & Logistics

Gatekeeping: Screen and register all incoming visitors to ensure only authorized personnel enter the facility.
Logistics Tracking: Log in/out trucks, trailers, and containers. This includes verifying seal numbers and monitoring temperatures for sensitive cargo.
Patrols: Conduct hourly patrols of the property, either on foot or using a golf cart/Detex system, to ensure all areas are secure.

Observation & Reporting

Surveillance: Remain alert for any suspicious activity or safety hazards.
Documentation: Maintain Daily Activity Logs (DALs) and generate detailed Incident Reports for management and clients when necessary.
Communication: Provide regular reports to the client and work collaboratively with the rest of the security team.

Safety & Service

Presence: Provide a visible, professional security presence to deter unauthorized activity.
Customer Service: Interact with all individuals with manners and respect, acting as a helpful resource for the property.

Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory Credentials

License: A valid California Guard Card is strictly required.
Age & Legal: Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
Background: Must pass a pre-employment background check.
Language: Bilingual skills are required for this location.

Physical & Tactical Requirements

Stamina: Ability to stand for the entirety of the shift and lift 15-20 lbs.
Equipment: While uniforms are provided, you must obtain a duty belt, handcuffs/holder, flashlight/holder, and security badge within one month of hire. Tactical boots are required.
Training: Must be CPR/BLS and Pepper Spray trained, or open to receiving this training.

Compensation & Shift Details

Hourly Rate: $19.00 per hour (Biweekly pay).
Hours: Part-time (30–35 hours weekly).
- Sat & Sun: 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM
- Mon – Wed: 03:00 PM – 11:00 PM

In this role, your primary task is Access Control. You act as the filter between the public world and a secured private facility.

Your ability to cross-reference trailer seal numbers and visitor IDs against the daily manifest is what keeps the facility’s inventory and personnel safe.
