Key Responsibilities & Student Advocacy

Programming & Development

  • Initiative Design: Develop and implement strategic programs that enhance the personal and academic growth of Liberal Studies students.

  • Workshop Leadership: Facilitate sessions on essential success strategies, including time management, study skills, and navigating university resources.

  • Community Building: Coordinate and attend events designed to foster a sense of belonging and social responsibility within the program.

Student Support & Advising

  • Holistic Guidance: Serve as a primary resource for students, providing support for both academic challenges and personal development.

  • Policy Interpretation: Advise students on complex administrative policies and procedures, assisting in the resolution of issues or grievances.

  • Departmental Liaison: Act as a bridge between students and other university offices, ensuring student concerns are heard and addressed at the institutional level.

Operational Management

  • Budgetary Oversight: Develop and manage budgets specifically allocated for student affairs initiatives and large-scale events.
