Job Overview: Student Services & Program Support Assistant
The Cornell SC Johnson College of Business is seeking a highly organized and student-focused Program Support Assistant to anchor its NYC-based graduate programs. This role provides critical on-site support for two premier offerings: the MS in Business Analytics (MSBA) and the Baker Program (MPS in Real Estate).
As the “go-to” resource on-site, you will bridge the gap between students, faculty, and administration across two distinct NYC locations: 570 Lexington Avenue and the Tata Innovation Center on Roosevelt Island. Key Responsibilities & Program Logistics
Student & Faculty Success

Primary Contact: Serve as the first point of contact for students and faculty during class sessions, which includes regular evening and occasional weekend hours.

Onboarding: Support the annual onboarding of new students and manage ongoing program communications, surveys, and announcements.

Faculty Support: Assist faculty with course setup and maintenance within Canvas, and coordinate complex travel and lodging logistics.
Event & Classroom Management

End-to-End Logistics: Manage space reservations, materials preparation, and vendor coordination for high-impact classes and co-curricular events.

Engagement: Lead the planning and execution of engagement activities for students and alumni across NYC, ensuring a polished and welcoming experience.

Communications: Draft program newsletters and manage routine social media/internal communication platforms (Slack, etc.).
Financial & Administrative Operations

Budget Support: Manage routine financial transactions and assist in tracking program expenses.

Database Management: Maintain program-related materials and databases with high attention to detail.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education & Experience

Required: Associate’s degree with 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience (or an equivalent combination).

Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel/PowerPoint), Canvas, and data analysis.

Soft Skills: Excellent written/verbal communication, strong judgment, and the ability to remain calm under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Range: $26.86 – $36.30 per hour (Hourly Pay Range).

Schedule: Full-time, Onsite in New York, NY. Must be flexible to work nights and weekends to support program goals.

Location: Split between 570 Lexington Ave and Roosevelt Island.
