Job Overview: Airport Customer Service Agent (Breeze Airways)
Unifi Aviation, the largest ground handling service provider in North America, is hiring Airport Customer Service Agents to support Breeze Airways operations at Bradley International Airport (BDL). Key Responsibilities & Passenger Advocacy
Baggage & Logistics

Claim Support: Proactively assist passengers with baggage pick-up and navigation within the terminal.

Issue Resolution: Act as a problem-solver for travelers dealing with delayed, lost, or damaged items, providing empathetic and professional service.

Digital Tracking: Utilize airline-specific software to accurately track, catalog, and locate luggage across the network.
Operational Support

Ramp & Jetway Assistance: Be prepared to assist in various areas of the operation, including carrying heavy items up and down jetway stairs.

Safety Awareness: Maintain high alertness to moving vehicles and aircraft on the ramp and effectively use radio equipment for team coordination.
Requirements & Qualifications
Physical & Technical Requirements

Strength: Must be able to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull items weighing 70 lbs or more, and repetitively lift 40–50 lbs onto raised surfaces.

Mobility: Ability to navigate stairs and active airfield environments safely.

Tech Savvy: Comfortable using computer systems for data entry and baggage tracking.
Mandatory Criteria

Residency: Must be a local (in-state) resident of Connecticut.

Education: High School diploma or GED.

Legal: Must be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.

Licensing: Valid In-State Driver’s License is required.

Clearance: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a 10-year background check to obtain a SIDA badge.
Compensation & Shift Details

Base Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour.

Employment Type: Part-Time (Non-Exempt).

Shifts Available: A.M., P.M., and Overnight shifts.
