Job Overview: Airport Customer & Ramp Agent (Part-Time)
Trego-Dugan Aviation Inc. is seeking a versatile Part-Time Airline Customer and Ramp Service Agent to join their team at the Savannah/Hilton Hilton Head International Airport (SAV). This “above and below the wing” role is unique because it combines high-touch customer service at the ticket counter with the physical, fast-paced operations of the aircraft ramp.
This is an ideal position for those who enjoy variety in their workday—transitioning from assisting passengers with travel documents to ensuring their luggage is safely loaded onto the aircraft.
Key Responsibilities & Dual-Role Scope
Customer Service (Above the Wing)

Passenger Processing: Check-in passengers, verify travel documents, and process tickets and baggage fees.

Gate Operations: Manage the boarding process, make clear terminal announcements, and assist passengers with seating or flight changes.

Problem Solving: Deliver excellent service while handling delays, cancellations, or passenger inquiries with professionalism.
Ramp Operations (Below the Wing)

Baggage Handling: Lift, load, and unload passenger luggage and air freight (must be able to lift up to 70 lbs).

Aircraft Servicing: Marshall aircraft into the gate using hand signals, operate ground power units, and assist with water and lavatory services as needed.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict FAA and airline safety regulations to prevent injury or damage to the aircraft.
Requirements & Qualifications

Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 70 lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Flexibility: Must be able to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, to match flight schedules.

Compliance: Must pass a comprehensive 10-year background check and drug screening to obtain airport SIDA badging.

Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with passengers and clear coordination with flight crews.
