Job Summary
The Airport Station Manager at Air Canada is a senior operational leadership role overseeing the “Pulse of the Hub” in Northwestern Ontario. As the highest-ranking local official for the airline, you are responsible for the entire ground operation—from ramp safety and aircraft turnarounds to front-of-house customer experience. Key Accountabilities

Operational Leadership: Direct all station activities to ensure flights depart safely and on time (OTP), managing the “Critical Path” of ground handling and gate operations.

Safety & Compliance: Act as the primary accountable officer for local safety protocols, ensuring 100% adherence to Transport Canada regulations and Air Canada’s internal Safety Management System (SMS).

Customer Experience (CX) Strategy: Drive local initiatives to enhance the passenger journey, resolving high-level escalations and maintaining the brand’s premium service standards.

Financial Oversight: Manage the station’s annual operating budget, overseeing labor costs, vendor contracts, and resource allocation to ensure “Cost-Efficient” excellence.

Team Development: Cultivate a high-performance culture among a diverse team of unionized and non-unionized staff, focusing on mentorship and professional growth.

Stakeholder Diplomacy: Represent Air Canada in meetings with Airport Authorities, government agencies, and local community partners to align operational goals.
