Key Responsibilities & Site Leadership

Project Execution & Management

  • End-to-End Oversight: Take full ownership of the job site from inception to completion, ensuring the project aligns with design intent and local NYC building codes.

  • Subcontractor Coordination: Lead regular meetings with subcontractors to manage schedules, track deliveries, and address site-specific changes or challenges.

  • Design & Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify design deficiencies or potential schedule delays, working with the design team to obtain necessary clarifications (RFIs).

Compliance & Documentation

  • Safety Enforcement: Maintain a zero-compromise safety culture, ensuring all site activities meet or exceed OSHA standards and NYC safety regulations.

  • Meticulous Records: Manage and maintain critical project documentation, including change order logs, RFI logs, and submittal sets.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary site liaison for owners, project managers, and designers to ensure project transparency and compliance.


Qualifications & Requirements

Professional Experience

  • Tenure: A minimum of 4 years of construction experience, specifically within commercial interiors (corporate, retail, academic, or healthcare).

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of NYC building codes, construction procedures, estimating, budgeting, and scheduling.

  • Site Mobility: Must be able to commute daily to various job sites throughout the five boroughs of New York City.
