Job Summary: Labourers (Catering Equipment Moves)
Manpower is recruiting hardworking and reliable Labourers for a project-based role focused on the logistics and installation of heavy catering equipment. While the project begins in Glasgow, the scope covers various sites across Scotland, making this an excellent fit for flexible workers who enjoy site-based manual labour and are looking for competitive hourly pay.

-
Health & Safety: Strictly adhering to site safety protocols and manual handling guidelines to prevent injury or equipment damage.
Role Details
-
Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour.
-
Location: Primary site in Glasgow, with potential travel to other Scottish locations.
-

Candidate Requirements
-
CSCS Card: You must hold a valid CSCS Green Card to be eligible for site entry.

Physical Fitness: Capability to perform heavy lifting repeatedly and safely throughout an 8-hour shift.
-
Reliability: Punctuality is critical for scheduled site moves and transport windows.

Why This Role?
This isn’t just “general” labouring; it’s specialized logistics. Working with high-value catering equipment requires a higher level of care and coordination than standard site clearance, which is reflected in the £14.00/hour pay rate—well above the standard entry-level labouring average.
Quick Check: Are You “Site Ready”?
| Requirement | Description |
| PPE | You will likely need your own Steel Toe Boots, High-Vis, and Hard Hat. |
| Travel | The role is “mobile”; having your own transport or a willingness to commute to various sites is a major plus. |
| Availability | Can you commit to the initial dates starting March 25th? |
Application Tip: Manual Handling Focus
When you speak with the Manpower recruiter, emphasize your experience with heavy lifting. If you have worked in removals, warehouse loading, or previous equipment installations, mention that specifically. They are looking for people who understand how to move heavy objects without damaging the equipment or the site floors/walls.
