- Annual Equivalent: Approximately $31,200 – $39,000 for full-time hours.

Core Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Provide a “welcoming atmosphere” by proactively assisting guests and helping them navigate the store’s unique, ever-changing selection.
Cashier Duties: Execute efficient and friendly checkout experiences, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions and promoting the TJX loyalty program.
Merchandising & Recovery: Assist in processing new shipments and “recovering” the sales floor, ensuring that apparel, home goods, and accessories are organized and “shoppable.”
Operational Versatility: Pivot between the fitting rooms, cash desk, and backroom processing as store traffic dictates.
Loss Prevention: Maintain a high level of “Integrity-first” awareness on the sales floor to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment.
Brand Advocacy: Act as an ambassador for the “Off-Price” model, educating customers on the value and quality of the brands available.

Candidate Requirements

Attributes: Friendly, communicative, and highly adaptable to a “no-two-days-are-the-same” environment.
Experience: While previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, TJX prioritizes candidates with a “positive work attitude” and a willingness to learn.
