Job Description
Are you a compassionate educator who believes that every child belongs at the heart of the classroom? St. Vincent de Paul School is seeking an Education Assistant I to join our inclusive community in Calgary. We aren’t just looking for someone to “help out”; we are looking for a dedicated advocate who has the “wit” to adapt a lesson on the fly and the “grit” to provide steady, patient support during a student’s most challenging moments.
In this role, you are a co-pilot for student success. You will be the bridge between a student’s unique learning needs and the daily classroom experience. Whether you are providing hand-over-hand instruction for a creative project or documenting progress for a behavior plan, your presence ensures that our classroom is a “safe, calm, and inclusive” sanctuary. We value professionals who treat their colleagues and students with deep respect—those who see the “whole child” and can celebrate small victories with genuine joy.

We offer a competitive salary and a culture that is “faith and family friendly.” You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while growing your own career through professional development and collaborative team-based learning. If you are a self-motivated professional with a heart for service and a commitment to Catholic values, we invite you to help us shape a resilient future for our students.
