Job Overview: JDE Analyst – Manufacturing (Forecasting & Quality)

Atria Group LLC is seeking a specialized JDE Analyst to focus on the Manufacturing module, specifically within Forecasting and Quality Management. This is a high-impact, 12+ month contract based in Houston, TX, requiring a professional who can bridge the gap between complex operational requirements and technical system implementation.

You will act as a consultant and technical architect, collaborating with corporate finance, IT development, and operational management to optimize JDE business functions.


Key Responsibilities & Functional Scope

System Analysis & Implementation

  • Business Mapping: Analyze, plan, and design efficient operational systems and functions within JD Edwards to meet manufacturing goals.

  • Testing & Deployment: Lead the testing and implementation of system enhancements, ensuring they align with end-user needs and corporate standards.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the liaison between the IT development team and various business units (Finance, Ops, and Management).

Technical Development & Toolset

  • Object Management: Utilize Object Management Workbench (OMW) for managing JDE objects and project life cycles.

  • Design Tools: Leverage the JDE development toolset, including Report Design Aid (RDA), Form Design Aid (FDA) (including Powerforms), and Table Design Aid.

  • Reporting: Use BI Publisher to create and manage sophisticated reporting solutions for forecasting and quality metrics.


Qualifications & Requirements

JDE Expertise

  • Tenure: Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience with JD Edwards.

  • Version Experience: At least 2 years of experience in v8.12 or higher (v9.0 is highly preferred).

  • Core Training: Required JDE training in Tools and Technologies.

Technical Skills (Preferred)

  • Programming & Data: Proficiency in a combination of SQL, Excel, Oracle BI, ADO, ASP.Net, HTML, and XML.

  • Powerforms: Demonstrated experience with complex Powerforms in JDE.

  • Duration: 12+ months (Contract).
