Job Summary: Clinical Assessor (PIP / WCA)
Everpool Recruitment is seeking qualified healthcare professionals—including Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, and Pharmacists—for the role of Clinical Assessor in Luton. This hybrid role is designed for those looking to transition from traditional clinical settings into a position that offers structured hours and a strong work-life balance. You will utilize your clinical expertise to conduct functional assessments and produce detailed reports that help determine eligibility for government disability benefits.
Key Responsibilities

Clinical Consultations: Conduct thorough assessments with claimants (via telephone or face-to-face) to understand how their health conditions impact their daily lives or work capabilities.

Evidence Analysis: Review complex medical records, health questionnaires, and supporting evidence to form a comprehensive clinical picture.

Report Writing: Compile objective, evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to aid in their decision-making process.

Quality Standards: Adhere to strict DWP guidelines and maintain high standards of clinical accuracy and professional integrity.
Requirements

Professional Registration: Must have at least 1 year of active registration with the NMC or HCPC.

Clinical Experience: Minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in a relevant adult clinical setting.

Qualifications: Open to Registered Adult Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Occupational Therapists, Paramedics, Physiotherapists, and Pharmacists.

Technical Skills: Strong IT proficiency and the ability to type and compile detailed reports efficiently.

Right to Work: Must have the legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
Salary and Benefits

Competitive Salary: Starting salary of £37,500 – £42,000, with guaranteed £1,000 increases at 6 and 12 months.

Work-Life Balance: Standard 9:00 am – 5:00 pm hours, Monday to Friday (no weekends, nights, or bank holidays).
