Job Summary: Business & Project Manager

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Business & Project Manager to join the growing team at Vertex Construction & Management Ltd in Luton. This is a diverse, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You will play a critical part in our daily operations, balancing office administration, financial support, and property management with the coordination of our ongoing development projects. Key Responsibilities

Business Administration: Manage daily office tasks, including diary coordination, email management, and comprehensive document control.
Financial & Compliance Support: Assist with VAT returns, invoicing, finance tracking, and the preparation of small financial reports.
Property Management: Oversee rent collection, maintain tenant relationships, and ensure full property compliance.
Project Coordination: Work closely with contractors and suppliers to manage refurbishment and development projects, including conducting occasional site visits.
System Management: Take charge of business software systems, including property management tools, CRMs, and compliance platforms to ensure processes are streamlined and efficient.

Requirements

Experience: Previous experience in administration, accounts support, or property/project management is preferred. Experience with Airbnb or serviced accommodation operations is highly desirable.
Tech-Savvy: You must be confident with IT systems and capable of learning new software tools quickly.
Professional Attributes: Exceptional organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Eligibility: Must have a valid right to work in the UK. (Students with appropriate working hours and PSW visa holders are welcome to apply).
Communication: Excellent people skills to manage tenant relationships and contractor communications effectively.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: From £12.21 per hour.
Hours: 20 – 40 hours per week (Full-time or Part-time options).
