Job Overview: Remote Customer Support (Medical Data Management)

RemX is hiring experienced call center professionals for a fast-paced Medical Data Management team. This role is specifically for residents within the Houston area and involves high-level attention to detail while managing medical charting inquiries.

This is a strictly remote position, but candidates must be local to Houston to meet the residency requirements.


Key Responsibilities & Daily Tasks

Communication & Research

  • Call Management: Place and receive professional calls regarding medical charts, ensuring a high standard of patient and client privacy.

  • Inquiry Handling: Navigate specialized call center software to perform research, answer specific questions, and update account information in real-time.

  • Service Excellence: Provide supportive, clear, and professional customer service in a medical context.

Data Administration

  • Technical Tasks: Perform high-volume, repetitive tasks such as copying and pasting data and extracting information for medical charting.

  • Accuracy: Maintain extreme attention to detail to ensure medical records are updated correctly.

  • Performance Metrics: Consistently meet or exceed call center metrics regarding call quality, handling time, and performance goals.


Requirements & Technical Specifications

Core Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of call center experience is required.

  • Education: Completed High School Diploma or GED.

  • Typing Speed: Must be able to type 25+ WPM with high accuracy.

Home Office Requirements

  • Location: Must live within 30 miles of Houston, TX.

  • Environment: A quiet, dedicated home office space free from distractions.

  • Connectivity: High-speed internet with a requirement to be connected via Ethernet cable at all times (no Wi-Fi).


Compensation & Schedule

  • Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour.

  • Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

  • Work Type: Full-time, Remote (Houston residents only).
