Job Overview: VP / Director – Aladdin & eFront (Private & Public Markets)
This is a senior, client-facing leadership role within BlackRock’s Aladdin Client Engagement (ACE) group, located in Abu Dhabi. You will manage strategic technology partnerships with Tier 1 Middle East institutions, including sovereign wealth funds and large asset owners. Your primary objective is to serve as a trusted advisor, ensuring that Aladdin, eFront, and WPS are deeply embedded as mission-critical platforms across the client’s entire investment lifecycle—covering both Public and Private markets. This role reports directly to the Managing Director of ACE in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities
The VP/Director acts as the senior owner of the front-to-back client relationship:

Strategic Client Ownership: Owning senior-level relationships at top-tier Middle East institutions and acting as the primary point of accountability for value delivery and relationship health.

Value Delivery & Advisory: Translating client business priorities into actionable technology solutions across investments, risk, operations, and data.

Platform Adoption: Driving high-quality platform penetration through engagement campaigns and end-user adoption initiatives to ensure long-term commercial outcomes.

Internal Orchestration: Partnering with Aladdin and eFront product, engineering, and transformation teams to ensure coordinated delivery and influence the global product roadmap based on regional insights.

Commercial Growth: Contributing to account growth, renewals, and expansion opportunities by reinforcing BlackRock’s differentiated value proposition.

Escalation Management: Leading high-stakes escalation processes and ensuring consistent delivery standards in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
Candidate Requirements
BlackRock seeks a candidate with “executive presence” and deep technical/financial expertise:

Experience: Significant background in Financial Services, FinTech, or the Buy-Side, specifically working with complex institutional clients.

Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of Private Markets (Alternatives) and Public Markets operating models, workflows, and technology.

Leadership: Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex programs and influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

Education: Relevant university degree; prior experience in consulting or project management is preferred.

Monthly Salary (Est.): AED 75,000 – AED 110,000+ (Tax-free, depending on VP or Director level and individual performance/bonus structure).
