Job Description

Are you a master of the machine who takes pride in the “fine” details of civil engineering? Sealand Building Group is looking for a Construction Heavy Equipment Operator who wants to do more than just move dirt—we want someone who wants to help build the infrastructure of the Canadian food industry. Since 1975, we’ve treated business as personal, and we’re looking for a seasoned operator who shares our desire to have fun, work hard, and make a tangible difference in our communities.

This is a role for a “surgical” operator. We aren’t looking for someone to just dig holes; we need a professional who can use a Trimble GPS system to grade a site to perfection and lay the foundation for massive cold storage facilities. Because our projects span the region, you should be a road warrior who enjoys the change of scenery that comes with weekly travel, knowing that you’ll have quality accommodations and a great team backing you up at every site.

Joining Sealand means joining a leader in the design-build sector. We provide the latest technologies and professional development to ensure you stay at the top of your game. We value the “grit” it takes to handle Maritime weather and the “wit” it takes to interpret a complex blueprint on the fly. If you have a decade of experience in the dirt and the mechanical aptitude to keep our modern fleet humming, we have a seat for you.

Help us continue our 50-year legacy of excellence. Let’s get to work.
