Job Description
Are you a safety-focused professional who enjoys an active workday and an early start? Miller Waste Systems is looking for a Class 3 Driver/Picker to join our Moncton team. We have been a leader in Canadian waste management since 1961, and we pride ourselves on being a privately owned company that treats our employees as our number one asset. In this role, you aren’t just a driver; you are a key player in the “circular economy,” ensuring that Moncton’s waste is diverted and managed responsibly.
Your day begins before the city wakes up. Starting between 4:00 AM and 5:00 AM, you’ll head out from our Caledonia Road hub to service our diverse client base. This is a hands-on position—you’ll be utilizing modern tablet technology to manage your route while physically engaging with the collection process. We value “problem solvers” who can adapt to changing daily needs and maintain a positive, professional attitude even during peak periods.
At Miller Waste, we strive to be an “employer of choice.” We offer more than just a competitive wage of $23.39 per hour; we offer a career where you are part of a family-centric environment. We provide industry-leading compensation, robust benefits, and pension programs designed to support you and your family’s future. If you meet most of our needs and have a passion for operational excellence, we want to hear from you.
Join us in Moncton and become part of a team that is making a real difference in the community every single day.
