Responsibilities:

Contributing to the planning, development, and delivery of the Mental Health Nursing curriculum.

Teaching, supervising, and assessing students across undergraduate, postgraduate, and apprenticeship programmes.

Collaborating with colleagues to expand the faculty’s simulation portfolio with evidence-informed, authentic clinical scenarios.

Engaging in quality assurance and enhancement of curricula to meet NMC standards.

Promoting healthcare professional careers within local communities and partner organizations.

Participating in scholarly activities related to clinical practice, policy, or education.

Working interprofessionally to meet the diverse health needs of the population.

Requirements:

Current UK NMC Professional Registration as a Mental Health Nurse.

A related nursing qualification (Degree or higher).

Proven clinical background in mental health nursing with the ability to provide professional insight in an academic setting.

Commitment to social justice, widening participation, and inclusive learning.

Strong communication skills for effective teaching and collaborative practice.

Ability to undergo Enhanced DBS Clearance (Adult and Child Workforce).
