Job Overview: Alaska Seasonal Barista (Aramark)

Aramark Corporation is hiring full-time Seasonal Baristas for the 2026 summer season at the Denali Park Village resort. This role is designed for those who want to combine a professional hospitality position with an immersive wilderness experience. Key Responsibilities & Daily Tasks

Beverage Craft & Service

  • Technical Preparation: Expertly prepare specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to Aramark and brand standards.

  • Customer Interaction: Greet guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and provide a high level of service during high-volume periods.

  • Food Support: Assist with light food preparation and service as needed to maintain a smooth workflow in the café.

Operations & Finance

  • Transaction Management: Accurately operate the Point of Sale (POS) system and handle cash and credit card payments.

  • Station Upkeep: Manage the daily setup and breakdown of the coffee station, including deep cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces and equipment.

  • Inventory: Help maintain stock levels for beverage coolers, “grab-and-go” items, and condiments.


Qualifications & Requirements

Core Skills

  • Customer Service: Previous experience in a service-oriented role is highly preferred.

  • Mathematics: Basic math and counting skills are required for accurate cash handling and drawer balancing.

  • Professional Standards: Ability to follow recipes precisely and comply with the company dress code and safety protocols.

Physical & Adaptability Requirements

  • Stamina: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks like lifting or bending.

  • Independence: Must be capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision once trained.

  • Certification: Completion of a Food Handling Certification is typically required shortly after hire.
