What Makes a Great Bubble Tea Barista?
Bubble tea is a high-speed, high-precision craft. Beyond basic customer service, the “BOBA” standard requires:
-
Speed & Consistency: Ensuring every customer’s drink tastes exactly the same, even during the busiest evening rush.
-
Multi-tasking: Managing the brewing of fresh tea, the preparation of bubbles, and the cooking of waffles simultaneously.
-
Cultural Competency: Since fluency in Mandarin is required, this role will likely involve interacting with a diverse, international customer base, making excellent communication skills a huge asset.
Next Steps:
Since this role requires specific industry experience and language skills, be sure to highlight your specific bubble tea technical skills (e.g., specific shaking techniques, tea brewing, or fructose machine operation) in your application.
