The SDSU Research Foundation (Academy for Professional Excellence) is seeking a highly organized Technical Administrative Coordinator to join our team in a hybrid or remote-flexible capacity, based in Riverside or San Diego, CA. This grant-funded, full-time position offers a non-negotiable salary of $32.00 – $34.00 per hour and is central to the operational success of our Health and Human Services initiatives.
In this role, you will manage the full service provider lifecycle, overseeing “rolling recruitment” and onboarding for approximately five new hires monthly, while maintaining records for a network of 120–140 service providers. You will act as a technical lead, optimizing data systems across platforms such as Zoho, Trello, and Access Planit, and developing training modules for internal staff. Your responsibilities extend to complex project coordination, including synthesizing statistical data, drafting technical policies, and managing team schedules to ensure project milestones are met.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree and possesses at least 3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience. Preference will be given to those with a background in Health & Human Services and 2+ years of experience with project management platforms.
