Core Responsibilities

• Guest Engagement: Greet guests promptly, explain menu specials, and provide tailored suggestions to enhance the breakfast experience.

• Buffet Management: Ensure the breakfast buffet is fully stocked, organized, and hygienically maintained at all times.

• Operational Standards: Complete daily and weekly checklists; follow cash handling procedures and health and safety guidelines meticulously.

• Dining Room Flow: Promptly clear and sanitize tables; refill beverages and check in with guests to ensure ongoing satisfaction.

• Mentorship: Assist in training new team members to uphold the hotel’s Guest Service Standards.

• Event Support: Provide occasional service support for banquets, special functions, and resort events.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of serving experience is required.

• Certification: Valid Alberta ProServe certificate is mandatory.

• Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry heavy trays (up to 30 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Technical Skills: Basic math skills for bill processing and a foundational knowledge of mixology/barista service.

• Soft Skills: High energy, integrity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team under pressure.

• Legal: Must be already authorized to work in Canada (sponsorship is not available).
