Raffles Hotels & Resorts, Dubai

The Company

Raffles maintains a dual presence in Dubai, each property serving as a distinct architectural landmark. Raffles Dubai , the brand’s original UAE footprint, is a 19-story glass-tipped pyramid in Wafi City that merges Egyptian grandeur with Asian sophistication. In 2021, the brand expanded with Raffles The Palm Dubai , an ultra-luxury “beachfront palace” on the West Crescent of Palm Jumeirah. Both properties represent the pinnacle of the Accor luxury portfolio, catering to high-net-worth individuals, royal families, and connoisseurs of “legendary” service.

Culture

The culture is centered on the world-famous “Raffles Butler Service,” which provides an unparalleled level of anticipatory, discreet, and personalized care. Operating with the philosophy that “True luxury is not just what you do, but how you feel,” the environment is one of quiet confidence and timeless elegance. Employees are encouraged to be “masters of their craft,” fostering a workplace that values heritage, cultural storytelling, and the emotional intelligence required to manage the expectations of a global elite.

Location

Raffles occupies two of Dubai’s most contrasting yet strategic settings:

  • Wafi City (Umm Hurair): Positioned near Dubai Creek, this location is an urban haven connected to the Wafi Mall and Cleopatra’s Spa . It offers central access to the Dubai International Airport, the Financial Center (DIFC), and the city’s historic souks.

  • The Palm Jumeirah: Located on the West Crescent , this palatial resort offers a 500-meter private beach with Maldives-imported sand. It provides a secluded, resort-style atmosphere with sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf and the Dubai Marina skyline.
