Job Description

Are you a visionary leader ready to take the helm of a premier downtown destination? Delta Hotels Calgary Downtown is seeking a General Manager who embodies the “warm, wise, and in control” spirit of the Delta brand. As the primary strategic leader of this property, you will be responsible for far more than just the day-to-day operations; you will be the architect of the hotel’s success in a competitive urban market.

Your role is a sophisticated balancing act. On one hand, you are a savvy business executive, deep-diving into RevPAR data and financial forecasts to ensure a robust return for ownership. On the other, you are a cultural leader, walking the frontlines to mentor your staff and foster an environment of open communication and excellence. You will translate global Marriott initiatives into local wins, ensuring that our “seamless travel experience” is delivered to every guest, from high-profile corporate travelers to large groups visiting the heart of Alberta.

We are looking for a leader who understands that the “details matter.” You will spend your days collaborating with the sales team to hunt for new business, meeting with local Calgary officials to strengthen community ties, and conducting walk-throughs to ensure the building meets our exacting safety and luxury standards. This is a career-defining opportunity to join a global team where you can do your best work and belong to an amazing community of hospitality professionals.

If you have a pattern of exceptional performance, a passion for talent development, and the strategic grit to drive market share in a dynamic downtown environment, we invite you to explore this leadership journey with Delta Hotels by Marriott.
