Core Responsibilities

  • Guest Service Excellence: Proactively respond to requests for special arrangements including transportation, dining reservations, and dry cleaning.

  • Information Resource: Act as an expert on property amenities and the Calgary area, providing curated recommendations for local events, dining, and activities.

  • Communication Management: Process guest calls, messages, and concerns accurately; coordinate with Bellpersons and Housekeeping to resolve issues promptly.

  • Lounge Oversight: Monitor the M Club Lounge to ensure seating availability, maintain safety standards, and ensure the overall well-being and comfort of elite guests.

  • Administrative Diligence: Review shift logs and document all pertinent guest information and requests in daily logbooks to ensure seamless shift transitions.

  • Safety & Compliance: Report accidents or unsafe conditions immediately; adhere to all company policies regarding professional appearance and asset protection.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

  • Experience: This is an entry-level professional role; no prior related work or supervisory experience is required.

  • Language & Etiquette: Must speak using clear, professional language and demonstrate appropriate telephone etiquette.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period; capability to move or lift objects up to 10 pounds without assistance.

  • Soft Skills: A “genuine appreciation” for guests, the ability to anticipate needs, and a collaborative spirit to support team goals.
