Job Overview: Spanish-Speaking Nanny (Upper East Side)
A professional family residing on the Upper East Side (conveniently located near the Q and 6 trains) is seeking an energetic and dedicated Full-Time Nanny for their two children, ages 2 and 7. As both children are enrolled in school and camp programs, the role involves managing transitions, after-school engagement, and household support.

Job Details & Responsibilities
Childcare & Language Immersion

Spanish Language: Interact with the children primarily in Spanish to support and advance their existing language skills.

Developmental Engagement: Provide creative and interactive play for the 2-year-old and age-appropriate support for the 7-year-old.

Routine Management: Manage morning prep, school/camp drop-offs, and afternoon pick-ups.
Household Support

Meal Prep: Prepare healthy snacks and meals for the children.

Child-Related Housekeeping: Handle light laundry and general tidying of play areas and the children’s rooms.

Flexibility: Maintain a “team player” attitude regarding the daily schedule, especially on days with late starts or when the family’s needs shift.
Qualifications & Requirements

Language: Must be fluent in Spanish.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional nanny experience, including specific experience with toddlers and managing multiple children simultaneously.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, generally 8:15 AM – 6:30 PM (51.25 hours per week).

Note: One day per week features a late morning start.

Estimated Hourly Rate: Based on UES market rates for bilingual specialized care, pay typically ranges from $30.00 – $40.00 per hour.

Estimated Annual Salary: Due to the 50+ hour work week (including overtime), gross annual earnings are estimated between $92,000 and $125,000.
