Abbeville Nannies is seeking an experienced, proactive Daily Nanny to provide sole-charge care for a 10-month-old infant. This is a permanent, full-time position based in a private household in Clapham South, London. The role is designed for a professional who balances high-quality childcare with the ability to manage light household duties effectively.

Job Summary

• Schedule: 4 days a week (Monday–Thursday), 8:00 am – 6:00 pm

• Salary: £20–£21 gross/hour (£45,500 – £48,000 gross per annum)

• Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities

• Childcare: Primary responsibility for the sole-charge care of a 10-month-old infant, focusing on age-appropriate stimulation, safety, and routine.

• Household Support: Perform light housekeeping duties, including tidying, laundry, and maintaining general household order.

• Meal Preparation: Preparing simple, healthy meals (bonus skill preferred).

• Flexibility: Availability for occasional evening babysitting as requested.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience working with babies and toddlers in a private home environment.

• Compliance: Must have an up-to-date, clean DBS check.

• Proximity: Ideally located in or near Clapham South, or within a convenient commuting distance to SW12.

• Professionalism: Reliability, a nurturing nature, and the ability to combine childcare with household management.

This position utilizes a “Nanny-Plus” approach. While your primary focus is the wellbeing and development of the child, you are also integral to the smooth running of the household.
