Job Description

Are you looking for a predictable afternoon role that respects your existing commitments? A welcoming family in Southwest Calgary is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Nanny to assist with their 8-year-old twin daughters. Located in the beautiful Garrison Green community, this position is designed for someone who values flexibility and a positive, caring environment.

The core of this role is the “afternoon bridge.” You will be responsible for picking up the girls from their school in Currie Barracks at 3:30 pm and ensuring they get home safely. Because the distance is just over a kilometer, the transition is quick, allowing you more time to engage with the girls in their home environment. The family is exceptionally accommodating; they understand the demands of a university class schedule or personal life and are willing to adjust timings to ensure they find the right personality for their household.

While having your own vehicle is the preferred method for transportation, the family is open to creative solutions—such as taxi arrangements—for a caregiver who is the perfect emotional fit but lacks a car. This role offers more than just a paycheck; it’s an opportunity to become a trusted mentor and companion to two young sisters during their formative Grade 3 year.

If you are a responsible driver with a clean background and a heart for childcare, this position offers a competitive $20/hour rate and a schedule that leaves your mornings and evenings free. Join this local family and help make their weekday afternoons run smoothly and happily.
