Key Responsibilities

The Technical Account Manager is the cornerstone of the Enterprise Support Plan, focusing on proactive stability and architectural best practices:

Customer Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for aftersales delivery, acting as the customer’s internal voice within Alibaba Cloud to ensure project timelines and technical requirements are met.
Operational Health: Provide proactive services to improve the “Cloud Health Score” of assigned accounts, focusing on high availability (HA), failover strategies, and incident mitigation.
Strategic Advisory: Function as a “Trusted Advisor” by understanding the customer’s unique business challenges and recommending architectural best practices to drive further cloud adoption.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Synchronize with Account Management, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve technical queries rapidly and manage complex changes or incidents.
Risk Mitigation: Deep-dive into products and technologies to help accounts avoid systemic issues, manage technical risks, and optimize cloud spend.
Best Practice Delivery: Provide ongoing guidance on cloud migration, distributed system design, and the realization of value from Alibaba Cloud’s product suite.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Alibaba Cloud seeks a technologist with a strong consulting background and deep “Cloud-Native” literacy:

Academic & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
Development Foundation: Solid, hands-on experience with Java development is mandatory.
Cloud Architecture: Strong knowledge of technical architecture, including Distributed Systems, High Availability (HA), and Failover design.
Modern Tech Stack: Proficiency with Microservices, Containers, and Serverless technologies (specifically Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Istio, or Mesos).
Infrastructure Knowledge: Deep understanding of networking, servers, storage systems, and enterprise application hosting.
