Key Responsibilities

The Projects Technical Coordinator manages the high-stakes synchronization of medical infrastructure:

  • End-to-End Coordination: Partner with the Project Manager across all phases of execution—from initial order placement to final commissioning—ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.

  • Technical Design Support: Assist in the preparation of project drawings, technical schematics, and detailed cost quotations, collaborating with internal engineering teams and specialized external vendors.

  • Site Supervision: Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure that all construction and installation activities comply with project specifications, clinical quality standards, and safety regulations.

  • Commercial Support: Support the Project Manager in drafting and submitting competitive project bids and commercial quotations to secure new infrastructure opportunities.

  • Logistics & Supply Chain Interface: Liaise with the OP&L (Operations, Procurement & Logistics) team to synchronize equipment deliveries with site readiness and construction timelines.

  • Installation & Training Oversight: Coordinate with Product Specialists and Service Teams to schedule precision equipment installations and comprehensive application training for medical staff.

  • Financial & Administrative Stewardship: Follow up on client payments, maintain government entity registrations/compliance, and ensure all meeting action items are meticulously tracked and closed.


Required Qualifications & Skills

NMC seeks a candidate who combines a technical engineering foundation with strong project management discipline:

  • Academic Foundation: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering is highly preferred).

  • Professional Experience: 3–5 years of proven experience in project coordination, specifically within the healthcare or laboratory sectors.
