| Primary Duties | Anticipating surgeon needs; maintaining a sterile environment; decontaminating and sterilizing instruments; assisting in patient care during surgery. |
| Required Education | Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program (CAAHEP/LCC-ST) or Military Training program. |
| Certifications |
• CST (National Board of Surgical Technology) OR • TS-C (National Center for Competency Testing) • BLS (American Heart Association) within 30 days |
| Experience | OR experience required. Candidates with on-the-job training must have at least one year of scrub experience. |
