Barista | Arc’teryx (580 Broadway)

Fuel the Evolution. Celebrate the Wild. Join the Arc’teryx Community.

Arc’teryx isn’t just an outdoor brand; we are a company built on disruptive evolution and a commitment to “Do Right.” At our 580 Broadway flagship, our Baristas are the heartbeat of the guest experience—blending the craft of specialty coffee with the spirit of mountain culture.

We are looking for individuals who are as product-obsessed as they are people-focused. You don’t just serve coffee; you inspire our guests to get outside and live their best lives.

The Mission: Brand Ambassador & Craft Leader

In this role, you are the face of the brand on the retail floor. You will bridge the gap between technical outdoor gear and high-end hospitality, ensuring every guest leaves feeling inspired and energized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft Excellence: Deliver a best-in-class brand experience by meticulously preparing our menu offerings and attending to guest needs with precision.

  • Authentic Connection: Recommend products and share brand stories based on genuine guest interests and your own firsthand experiences in nature.

  • Operational Integrity: Utilize POS systems for efficient transactions and ensure the café space and equipment meet the highest health, safety, and maintenance standards.

  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with store leadership on brand initiatives, providing feedback on the in-store experience to help drive the business forward.

  • Logistics: Assist with receiving and unpacking inventory (handling boxes weighing 5–30 lbs) to keep the store running smoothly.

Compensation & Growth

  • Pay Range: $23.10 – $27.20 per hour (Base pay).

  • Beyond the Hourly: This role includes a competitive bonus program and a comprehensive benefits package.

  • Professional Evolution: We prioritize your development and provide the support needed to grow your passions both inside and outside the store.

Who You Are

You are a self-motivated problem solver who finds beauty in the details and joy in the outdoors.

Your Profile:

  • Service Driven: You have an unwavering commitment to exceptional guest service.

  • Adaptable: You stay composed and flexible in the face of ambiguity and fast-paced retail environments.

  • Self-Motivated: You balance autonomy with collaboration, seeking the best solutions rather than the easiest ones.

  • Nature-Focused: Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and experimenting with how gear performs in the elements.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Minimum of one open, one close, and one weekend shift per week.

  • Holiday Commitment: Full availability during “Black Friday” and the peak holiday season (mid-December through the new year).

  • Education & Skill: Pay is determined based on job-related skills, education, and relevant training.

Why Join Arc’teryx?

Positions Available:
