We don’t just staff events; we create happiness. We are seeking a high-energy, leadership-ready Lead Barista to oversee café operations at our iconic NYC Flagship location.

The Role: Front-Line Leadership

As the Lead Barista, you are more than a coffee expert—you are the Leader on Duty (LOD) for our retail café. You will serve as the bridge between management and the front-line team, ensuring that every guest’s visit is as magical as the experience they came to see.

Your Mission:

Team Mentorship: Lead the daily oversight, training, and development of our café team members to foster a world-class service culture.
Operational Excellence: Implement and uphold OGX standards, policies, and procedures to ensure seamless food and beverage service.
Guest Experience: Deliver exceptional service that aligns with the premium nature of our flagship attractions.
Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and proactively communicate re-order needs to management to prevent service interruptions.
Accountability: Evaluate team performance, provide real-time feedback, and uphold the standards outlined in our training and handbook.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $21.00 per hour (Part-Time)

Your Experience & Strengths

To succeed in this role, you should have:

Proven Leadership: 1+ year of supervisory or management experience.
Industry Roots: 2+ years in the Food & Beverage industry (specialty café/barista experience is a major plus).
Compliance: You must possess a valid NYC Food Handler’s Certificate.
Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent; some college is preferred (current students are encouraged to apply!).
Operational Stamina: Ability to stand for 75% of your shift, lift up to 25 lbs, and navigate a fast-paced retail environment.

Availability Requirements

Must be able to work a minimum of three shifts per week.
Must be available for at least one weekend day.
Flexibility to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
