Clean Team Member – Full-time / Part-time

Job Duties

• Guest Service: Deliver service with a “how may I help you” attitude, actively looking for ways to delight guests and following directions from management.

• Merchandising: Maintain fully stocked and “fronted” displays in coolers, fast lanes, and store shelves to ensure products are visually appealing and accessible.

• Beverage Station Maintenance: Clean and prepare equipment for high-margin items, including coffee stations and fountain drink dispensers.

• Facility Sanitization: Clean windows, floors, shelving, counters, and restrooms daily according to the store’s operating procedure checklist.

• Exterior Upkeep: Maintain the gas pumps, parking lot, and surrounding grounds to ensure a clean and welcoming exterior environment.

• Safety & Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to store management immediately.

• Operational Compliance: Adhere to all Thorntons policies, practice safe working habits, and accurately record all hours worked in the TOTS system.

Requirements

• Communication: Ability to speak, read, and write in English to understand instructions and interact with guests.

• Physical Capability: Must be able to climb a ladder for window cleaning, shelf stocking, and making price changes.

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong work ethic and the ability to collaborate effectively with teammates in a fast-paced environment.

• Integrity: Clear understanding that company funds are for business use only and a commitment to verifying accurate time reports.
