Job Duties
-
Conducts the configuration, troubleshooting, and repair of desktop, laptop, and Apple equipment under the guidance of the Technical Support Management team.

Deploys laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices to staff members.

Performs imaging of desktop and laptop devices to ensure standard configurations.
-
Installs software applications according to agency protocols and team directives.
-
Assists with software patch deployment across Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android endpoint platforms.

Provides technical support for meeting room technology to facilitate internal communications.
-
Executes asset management tasks to track and organize agency technology resources.
-
Delivers software troubleshooting and resolutions for end-user issues.
-
Manages the relinquishment and disposal of retired IT assets.
-
Supports audio and video requirements for public engagement events.
-
Completes additional technical duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements
-
Possess one year of full-time desktop support experience specifically within Windows and MacOS environments.
-
Demonstrate one year of experience supporting hardware including Dell systems, HP printers, iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks.
-
Maintain one year of experience installing and repairing Microsoft Windows 11 and Office 365 suites.
-
Support video conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
-
Troubleshoot specialized software applications such as ESRI and Adobe Creative Suite.

Utilize IP Config commands and Windows registry settings at an intermediate level.
-
Communicate effectively with a variety of personality types in a professional manner.
-
Adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment while maintaining high organizational standards.
-
Lift and move computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
-
Maintain authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Qualifications
-
Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, or a related field plus four years of relevant full-time experience.

Hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in any field plus eight years of relevant full-time experience.
-
Meet an equivalent combination of education and experience that satisfies the aforementioned professional standards.
