Sales Associate

Job Duties

• Greet and engage customers upon entry to provide a high-end, personalized shopping experience in the New York storefront.

• Demonstrate comprehensive product knowledge to explain features, benefits, and technical specifications to diverse clientele.

• Execute sales transactions efficiently using the point-of-sale system while maintaining accurate cash and digital payment records.

• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the collective revenue goals of the retail location.

• Maintain the visual integrity of the sales floor by restocking merchandise and adhering to brand merchandising standards.

• Assist with inventory management by processing new shipments, tagging products, and performing regular stock counts.

• Resolve customer service inquiries and concerns with a focus on building long-term brand loyalty.

• Collect and input customer data into the CRM system to support localized marketing and clienteling efforts.

• Collaborate with the stockroom and management teams to ensure a seamless flow of product to the sales floor.

• Perform opening and closing duties including store setting, security checks, and daily sales reconciliation.

Requirements

• Possess prior experience in a fast-paced retail or hospitality environment, preferably within the New York market.

• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and close sales effectively.

• Demonstrate a reliable and punctual work ethic suited for a consistent part-time schedule.

• Show proficiency in operating digital point-of-sale hardware and basic inventory software.

• Communicate with clarity and professionalism when interacting with customers and team members.

• Maintain the physical stamina required to remain on the sales floor for the duration of a shift.

• Work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, evenings, and seasonal holiday hours.

• Display a proactive attitude toward learning new product lines and sales techniques.

• Evidence a passion for the brand’s industry and a commitment to high-quality customer service.

• Reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the New York City location.
