Papa is looking for kind-hearted individuals—known as Papa Pals—to provide companionship and light assistance to older adults and families. This isn’t a medical role; it’s about being a great neighbor. Whether you’re a retiree looking to stay active, a stay-at-home parent, or someone who simply loves helping others, Papa allows you to earn a living while making a genuine difference in the lives of people in your community.

Your Role as a Papa Pal

You are a “companion-on-demand.” Your visits typically last 2–4 hours and focus on improving the daily lives of your members.

  • Companionship: Engaging in friendly conversation, playing board games, or simply sharing a cup of coffee.

  • Transportation: Helping members get to doctor appointments, grocery stores, or community events.

  • Errands & Shopping: Picking up prescriptions or helping with a weekly grocery list.

  • Light House Help: Assisting with simple tasks around the home that have become difficult for the member.

Why Join the Papa Team?

  • Create Your Own Schedule: Use the Papa Pal mobile app to browse available visits and pick only the ones that fit your life.

  • No Experience Required: We value “life experience” over medical certifications. If you are patient and caring, we will teach you the rest.

  • Financial Incentives: Earn a competitive hourly rate plus bonuses and mileage reimbursement for transportation-based visits.

  • Meaningful Work: Every shift you take directly reduces social isolation for a senior or helps a busy family find balance.

The Companion Care Landscape

Social isolation is a major health risk for older adults. As a Papa Pal, you are part of a growing movement to professionalize “social care.”
