The district is seeking dedicated educators from among LCEA Bargaining Members Only to serve as Student Liaisons. This role is essential for providing focused, one-on-one academic support and ensuring that students remaining off-site or in specialized programs maintain a seamless connection to their classroom requirements.
Requirements, Qualifications and Skills

Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate required.

Must be able to meet with caseload student twice a week for up to an hour each session

Is the liaison between the student and his/her assigned teachers. Responsible for the communication and coordination of homework / test / quizzes / exams, etc.

Ability to work effectively with students, parents and administrators.
About the Role
In this position, you will act as the primary academic anchor for your assigned students, coordinating directly with their teachers to manage the flow of assignments and assessments. By facilitating consistent communication between the school and the home, you will ensure that every student on your caseload has the advocacy and resources necessary to succeed academically.
